Roswitha Wilkinson's pen name is Spooky Rosi.  A native of Germany, Rosi married an American who worked at the air base close to her home. She was an avid horsewoman and, in 1986, a horse stumbled and threw Rosi from the saddle, leaving her with a head injury similar to a stroke.  She says with good humor, "My passion for horses got the best of me."

For ten years she was in a wheelchair, and now she uses a walker.  Her goal is to walk free again...in her words, "Dead or alive!"  She has been writing seriously for five years, mostly short stories and personal essays.  She is planning a novel - a western, since she loves horses, cowboys, outlaws and everything western.  She still struggles with the language because, as she says, "There is definitely a difference between 'British English' and 'Arkansas English.'"
